Dr. Jones graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1995. He completed his Family Medicine Residency in 1998 at The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital Residency Program. Before medical school, Dr. Jones served seven years as a Deputy Sheriff in his hometown of Nashville, Tenn.
Dr. Jones has published several medical articles and served on the American Academy of Family Physicians, Commission on Clinical Policies and Research. He has served as Minority Director for the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians Board of Directors. Dr. Jones is a married father of two and enjoys scuba diving and music.
